In this episode of Take A Breath, we interview world renowned yoga teacher and physiotherapist, Simon Borg-Olivier. Simon’s accomplishments in his field include teaching yoga for over 30 years, founding Yoga Synergy in Sydney.





Reading this interview I was struck by Simon’s insistence that genuine strength arises from “moving without creating unnecessary tension” which reframes the usual conversation around physical practice as something closer to a relational dialogue between breath and intention. It made me think about how much of contemporary training still treats the body as a mechanical system rather than a responsive organism shaped by attention.
